November 9, 2020 – A guide on conflict of interest issued in Croatia

This week, the Commission for the Resolution of Conflicts of Interest of Croatia has issued a Guide to the provisions of the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act from 2011 and the later amendments, on preventing private influences on decision-making in the exercise of public office, strengthening integrity, objectivity, impartiality and transparency in the performance of public office, and strengthening citizens’ trust in public authorities. The issuing of this publication was one of the Commission’ s obligations deriving from the Strategy for Prevention of Corruption for the period of 2015-2020 and its Action Plan 2019-2020.
