Moldova: The officers of the NAC are searching at forensic experts
Employees of the National Anti-Corruption Center conduct searches in the Center for Forensic Medicine. According to the press secretary of the NAC Angela Starinski, the operation is being conducted within the framework of the case of corruption in the structure, abuse of authority.
“We confirm that we are carrying out these actions. Anticorruption prosecutors and NCSC conduct searches at the Center for Forensic Medicine within the framework of the case of abuse of authority by the leadership of the institution. The object of the investigation is a batch of equipment for DNA detection, which does not work since 2013,” the spokeswoman said.
