RAI Speaks at the International Parliamentary Seminar on the Western Balkans in London 10-12 September

Following the Western Balkans Summit in London, the UK Parliament hosts an International Parliamentary Seminar on the Western Balkans under the auspices of the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (BGIPU). The Seminar is taking place in the Palace of Westminster from Monday 10th September to Wednesday 12th September 2018.

The purpose of the International Parliamentary Seminar on the Western Balkans will be to bring together parliamentarians from across the region as well as parliamentarians from countries whose governments are actively involved in the Berlin Process. The Seminar will ensure parliamentary engagement in the Berlin Process and allow for parliamentary follow-up to the key outcomes from the Western Balkans Summit.

Given the extensive knowledge and experience of working in the Western Balkans, the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative Secretariat represented by Mr. Vladan Joksimovic, Head of the Secretariat will speak on the panel entitled “Strengthening Rule of Law & Anti-Corruption Measures”. Mr. Joksimovic will present the RAI’s work in the Region and beyond, but also touch upon anti-corruption from the rule of law perspective and how to engage parliamentarians in the anti-corruption initiatives.
