Cristina BEJENARU

Cristina Bejenaru was selected as RAI Secretariat Intern for the period January – March 2016.

Ms. Bejenaru got her Bachelor degree in Political Science at the Institute of International Relations of the Republic of Moldova in 2012, specialization in International Relations. In 2014 she earned her Master degree in Political Science at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Moldova. Since 2015 she attends Licentiate degree at Faculty of Law at the Institute of International Relations in Moldova. She also graduated at Art School playing piano and violin, and has advance knowledge in singing. Ms. Bejenaru completed some trainings and internships regarding to her studies in the period of 2013-2015.

One of her main tasks during the internship was to work on mapping of the anti-corruption entities and relevant anti-corruption legislation in South East Europe. The mapping process itself required knowledge of the institutional setup of different countries as well as their legislative framework. Besides the mapping, Ms. Bejenaru took an active role in updating RAI website with different contents. Moreover, she had an opportunity to participate in Secretariat’s everyday activities such as staff meetings and planning sessions, which enabled her to learn a lot about the inner workings of the regional organisation, as well as RAI’s anti-corruption activities.

By her active engagement in developing of several strategic documents, such as Communication Strategy, MoUs and concept papers on cooperation with potential partners, Ms. Bejenaru gained a valuable knowledge and experience in terms of strategic and analytical work.
