More regional involvement of SPAI countries in the fight against corruption was demonstrated by their agreement to sign the Memorandum of Understanding Concerning Cooperation in Fighting Corruption Through the South Eastern European Anti-Corruption Initiative at SEECP meeting on April 13, 2007 in Zagreb, the Republic of Croatia, according to which the countries commit to provide financial sustainability of the Stability Pact Anti-corruption Initiative Regional Secretariat Liaison Office.
