Regional Anti-corruption Initiative (RAI) Secretariat will hold a Workshop on Corruption Proofing of Legislation in Chisinau, Moldova on 22 September 2017.

The Workshop is organized for and in cooperation with National Anticorruption Center (NAC) under the Regional Programme on Strengthening the Capacity of Anti-corruption Authorities and Civil Society to Combat Corruption and Contribute to the UNCAC Review Process.

The purpose of the Workshop is to discuss the recent developments in corruption proofing of legislation in Moldova as well as the Review of the Methodology on Corruption Proofing of Legislation which was developed by RAI Expert on corruption proofing Dr Tilmann Hoppe. Additionally, the Workshop will include the review of the IT Software on corruption proofing of legislation, which was developed by the NAC and which serves as a model for the Region.

RAI will also use this opportunity to meet with national counterparts and partners in Moldova.
