Darija FABIJANIC

Ms. Darija Fabijanic, RAI Secretariat’s intern from Croatia, was part of the team in the period October- December 2014.

Ms. Fabijanic finished her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Slavic Studies at the Eberhard Karl University Tübingen, Germany, in 2013. In 2011, during her Bachelor studies, she was studying one semester abroad at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). She is currently enrolled in the Honours Master’s Program Eastern European Studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany, studying Political Science and Eastern European History.

The main task that she was assigned with during the internship was to deliver a study on the links between anti-corruption and revision and control. The study itself required advanced knowledge and research in the subject matter of auditing, and not just in terms of economic evaluation but auditing as evaluation of policy and management processes, including both ex ante (‘before the fact’) and ex post (‘after the fact’) assessments. Besides the study as the main internship deliverable, Darija Fabijanic proved able to provide valuable contribution towards organizational, programmatic and Secretariat’s everyday activities.
