International Workshop ‘Implementation of the Integrity in the Macedonian Legislation’ – October 28, 2011 – Skopje, Macedonia

The Macedonian State Commission for Prevention of Corruption, with the financial support of Embassy of Norway, organized the International Workshop on ‘Implementation of the Integrity in the Macedonian Legislation’ on October 28, 2011, in Skopje, Macedonia. The event was part of the Integrity Experts Network (IEN) activities.

The workshop was attended by representatives from the Commission for Preventing of Corruption of Slovenia and Anticorruption Agency of Serbia, as well as by Macedonian institutions involved in the process of implementation of the integrity in the system: Ministry of Justice, Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Ministry of Information Society and Administration, Ministry of Finance – Sector of Public Internal Financial Control, Custom Administration, Public Revenue Office, State Audit Office and the Center for Civil Communication. Mr. Stanislav Aleksandrov – Anticorruption Expert in RAI Secretariat, took part in the event on behalf of the Initiative.

The workshop had the format of round table and shared the following objectives: exchange of information, experience and knowledge between the participating IEN member institutions on integrity issues; identification and promotion of good practices through discussion of different cases; and discussion on practical ways of implementation of the integrity in the Macedonian legislation.
