The Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI) Secretariat and GIZ Open Regional Fund for SEE – Legal Reform co-organized the conference on “Establishment of Common Forum for Cooperation between Regional Network for Judicial Training (RNJT) and the South-East European Law School Network (SEELS)” in Budva, Montenegro, on June 28- 29, 2012. The event represented the second phase of the project “Establishment of Framework for Integrated Anticorruption Legal Education in SEE“.

For the first time the conference gathered representatives of law faculties and magistrates schools in SEE on regional level. In this regard it had as main goals to identify the priority areas for cooperation and experience exchange in judicial training capacities; to enhance regional cooperation and exchange of information, experience and best practices regarding anticorruption legal education; to increase the general knowledge and expertise on regional level in the area on focus, and most of all to launch a common forum for cooperation between RNJT and SEELS for setting up the principles and mechanisms for integrated legal education in SEE. The event was closed by signing of Memorandum of Understanding between RNJT and SEELS that will further streamline the partnership among the two networks.
