RAI Senior Anti-Corruption Advisor delivers presentation at the “Ethics and Disciplinary procedure” webinar organised by the FBiH JPTC
11 December 2020 – Following the invitation of the Center for Judicial and Prosecutorial Training of BiH and OSCE Mission to BiH, Ms. Aneta Arnaudovska, Senior Anti-Corruption Advisor delivered a presentation at the webinar “Ethics and Disciplinary procedure” on the topic of possible corruption risks in the judiciary and on promoting integrity among judges and prosecutors. She emphasized that in line with the RAI expertise in the field of prevention of corruption, preventive mechanisms and promoting of integrity should be strengthened through introducing sectoral corruption risk assessment policies at all levels of the decision-making process in the judiciary and accordingly, identification and implementation of objective and realistic mitigating strategies and measures. The corruption risks occur in all decision-making points where individual judges and prosecutors, presidents of the courts, chief public prosecutors, and self-governing bodies might exercise discretional powers.
