Marija RAJIC

Ms. Marija Rajić was selected as regional Anti-corruption Initiative (RAI) Secretariat Intern for the period April – June 2016.

Ms. Rajić got her Bachelor degree in Spanish and Russian at the University of Zadar in 2011. In 2015 she earned a Master degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at DIU Libertas International University.

One of the main tasks that Ms. Rajić was assigned with during the internship was producing a research on Whistleblower protection in Southeast Europe – analysis, based on the 1st cycle of the United Nations Convention against Corruption review, Council of Europe Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) evaluations and updated information on developments in RAI member countries in 2015 and 2016. Moreover, Ms. Rajić participated at the “Workshop on Corruption reporting and Whistleblowing Protection“, held in Rakitje – Croatia, and significantly contributed to the organization of this event, being involved in both programmatic and logistical aspects.

Ms. Rajić was actively involved in updating RAI website with different content, including publishing anti-corruption news and updating the mapping of the anti-corruption entities and relevant anti-corruption legislation in South East Europe. Further on, she provided valuable contribution in development of Action plan for implementation of RAI Communication Strategy.

Besides above mentioned tasks, Ms. Rajić had an opportunity to participate in Secretariat’s everyday activities such as staff meetings and planning sessions as well as project development sessions.
