Countering Corruption in SEE Conference, Bucharest, Romania, May 3-4, 2007.

Another opportunity for assessing status of national anticorruption strategies adopted by the SEE countries was offered by the SEE Counter Corruption Regional Conference, identifying the best practices and lessons learned in following key areas:  role of law enforcement agencies and the judiciary, impact of corruption prevention measures, raising awareness, promoting transparency, and building the partnership with the civil society. The event was organized in full cooperation with the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies.
