28 – 29 November 2019, Belgrade, Serbia: Training on Effective Asset Recovery: Legal Standards and Good Practices

The training is the second in the series of three sessions on the topic of effective asset recovery organized within the framework of the two-years Regional Anti-corruption Project. It further builds up expertise among prosecutors and judges from South East Europe in the field of asset recovery and facilitates the exchange of good practices.

 

The training focuses on international and European legal standards and the European Court of Human Rights case-law in the field of asset recovery in order to foster the implementation of the asset recovery measures in practice. Prominent UK and international experts, as well as experts from the region will share their experience with prosecutors, judges and practitioners, specialized in asset recovery from Albania, Bulgaria, Bosna and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo*, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.

 

 

The regional project “Strengthening the anti-corruption in the South East Europe through improving asset seizure measures” ( Regional Anti-corruption Project) is implemented by AIRE Centre (Advice on Individual Rights in Europe) and Regional Anti-corruption Initiative (RAI) Secretariat.
